v4.2 Improvements

Windows 98 and 2000

Version 4.2 includes major work to better support the latest Microsoft operating systems, from installation to keyboard shortcuts to printing.

Increased Tape Length

Internal tape length can now be up to 5,000 lines (as opposed to 300 for v4.0).  This increased length makes it easier to review previous work, and to handle very lengthy calculations.

Tape End Warning

When the tape nears the end, Judy's TenKey notifies you so you can save your work and start a new tape or let the oldest entries just drop off (the previous version just silently dropped the oldest entries).

Improved Help

Supplements the already extensive help system with a contents tab so you can better understand the program's overall capabilities.

Visible Break Lines

Breaks between calculations are now indicated visually on the tape, eliminating a source of hidden confusion with previous versions.

Assorted Usability Improvements

Includes right-mouse click to insert a blank line in the middle of the tape).
